| Gordon
Leonard Tyler 1938 - 2005
Gordon was born and raised in Bellingdon and took part in
many of the village activates. He played football for the
Red Devils until a knee injury forced him to give up, cricket
for the village team and was a keen table tennis playing
in both the Chiltern and Aylesbury Leagues. He started the
junior table tennis club in Bellingdon to encourage youngsters
into the sport. For several years he was a member of the
Village Hall Committee and helped organise fetes, dances

Gordon was very much a family man, he faced his illness
with courage and dignity and will be greatly missed by his
family and friends.

Parish
Council Ken
Baxter recently retired after 20+ years on the Parish Council,
members of the council presented him with an engraved clock
and wished him well in his retirement. We will certainly miss
his knowledgeable input on many issues, especially planning.
Charlie Stephen was co-opted onto the Parish Council at the
May meeting to replace Ken as the Bellingdon representative.
Funding has been approved by Highways for a width restriction
at the bottom of Asheridge Hill, this will stop lorries coming
up through the village making it much safer. |
